This country is one of the world’s most strict in terms of rules. The regime imposes many strict rules followed by draconian punishments.
One of them is the prohibition to access foreign media. Even to modify your gadget, such as TV or radio, to access foreign media is not allowed.
However, it turns out that these strict rules are the source of corruption itself. The law enforcements are often bribed by the North Korean people who broke these rules. North Korea is ranked 167th with 8 CPI score.
