Audi’s Second Generation R8 Looks Better Than Ever
If you’re a big fan of the German automaker Audi, than you will most definitely love the new 2016 Audi R8.
The newcomer from Audi has received an online unveiling ahead of the car’s official debut at the Geneva motor show next month.
And as you will see in a few moments, the new family member looks better than ever.
Now, the car hasn’t actually suffered a redesign, because this would imply a whole new look, and it seems that the guys from Audi chose to keep the R8’s design intact.
That’s not a bad thing, considering the fact that this car already looked amazing, but with a few improvements here and there, it now looks spectacular.
Powering the new R8 is a mid-mounted naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10 engine, boosted from 386kW/530Nm to 397kW/540Nm, which boosts the car from 0 to 100km/h in just of 3.5 seconds.
The new model is essentially the same size as the old model with the exception of width, which it’s now around 11mm wider.
As I told you before, the shape of the new model did not suffer significant changes, but the first thing that pops out, is the use of sharper lines, which gives the car a more aggressive look.
The 2016 model also features a more significant aerodynamic package featuring an aggressive rear diffuser, and fixed carbon fibre wing on the V10 Plus models.
But let’s move on to the photos, because you’ll have too see it for yourself to understand how good looking this car really is.
So let’s have a quick peek at the new Audi R8, and see what makes it so special.
The interior has received a thorough makeover, which now features a new Audi TT-style wing-shaped dashboard and fully digital instrument display with integrated multimedia.
So what do you think, does the second generation R8 looks better than the first one or not? What do you like the most about the 2016 model?
