US Mint Curved Baseball Coin
The US Mint Curved Baseball Coin is the first curved coin ever created to celebrate 75th anniversary of the National Baseball Hall of Fame that was in July 2014.
Definitely a collector’s item, the coin has a baseball on it and the face of the coin is curved so that the ball feels real.
The other side features a baseball glove the curving this time matching the interior of the glove.
The unique currency was created by the US Mint in the National Baseball Hall of Fame Commemorative Coin Act, a law passed in 2012.
The mint created only 1,2 million coins in different denominations, the five dollar coin being created in gold, the one dollar in silver and a half-dollar clad coin.
