Saint Sebastian Church – Germany

The parish church Saint Sebastian is located in Ramsau, Germany. It was built in 1512 under provost Gregor Rainer and was extended in 1692 in the baroque style. That place is something that you will rarely ever see.

Market Church – Germany

The Market Church was built between 1529 and 1554 replacing two former churches but keeping their towers. The church represents one of the most important buildings of the late Gothic period in central Germany. If you go trough Germany, this is a special place to visit.

Cathedral of Segovia – Spain

The Cathedral of Segovia is located in Spain and it is a Roman Catholic church. The massive cathedral was built between 1525-1577 in a late Gothic style. If you have the chance, go and take a look, it is very impressive.

Stelvio Pass Church – Italy

This little and beautiful church is located in Italy, in Stelvio Pass. We do not have many information about this one but it looks deeply beautiful between mountains. There probably are not liturgy happening every Sunday but people may enter and pray.

Schloss Spiez Church – Switzerland

Spiez is a small German-speaking town form Switzerland and it has this beautiful church. Built in the Romanesque style in 1907 and the square tower older than the church this is a simple but beautiful church.

Heddal Stave Church – Norway

Heddal stave church is located in Notodden, Norway. It is the Norway’s largest stave church and it was constructed at the beginning of the 13th century and a restoration took place during 1849 – 1851 and another one as necessary in the 1950s. This is indeed an amazing architecture.

Saint Vitus’ Cathedral – Czech Republic

Saint Vitus’ is a Roman Cathedral in Prague and it was built in 1929. It was built in the Gothic architecture and is the biggest and most important church in the country. It has some big dimensions so you won’t miss it if you go there. It’s worth!

Ely Cathedral – England

Ely Cathedral is located in Cambridgeshire, England. It has been constructed between 1083–1375 in a Gothic, Romanesque style. Many people are also burried there. It has an impressive structure, almost like a castle but extremely beautiful.

Notre Dame de Paris – France

Probably one of the best known Cathedrals from the world. It has an amazing architecture and in the interior it hosts gorgeous pieces of art. The naturalism of its sculptures and stained glass are in contrast with earlier Romanesque architecture. It has been built in 1345 and among the time it suffered many modifications. This must be seen at least once in life.
