What is Campo Bahia?
Campo Bahia was created as the base camp for the German team at the 2014 World Cup, and the squad was its first guest, arriving on 8 June 2014. Reports from the time described 14 two-story villas, and the project was overseen by the Hirmer family’s property company. We could not verify the role our earlier article gave to a named architect, so we leave names out.
The resort describes itself this way:
“Experience the unique energy of a place that the native population has long regarded as magic. Come, be seduced by the charms of Campo Bahia, the exclusive, sustainable resort on the east coast of Brazil.”
This is barefoot luxury at its purest!
