Upgrade Your Spring Wardrobe with Bentley’s New Collection!
Bentley’s New Collection brings all the boys and girls to the yard. This time they stepped out their game by announcing three new additions to its Spring/Summer line of apparel and accessories.
We are used to see Bentley on the Car section news, but this time they are stealing the spotlight from the usual designers by adding a variety of leather jackets, a collection of magnificent scarves and handbags for women in their resume.
The new items will be seen for the first time at Geneva Motor Show on the 3rd of March. Can’t wait to see it? Here is a sneak peek about it!
The ladies’ version plays with proportions while classic Bentley design cues enhance timeless appeal and will be available in colors such as Red and Dark Sand. Inspired by the legendary Bentley Boy Tim Birkin’s scarves, the jackets will feature a quilted interior lining and polka dot trims.
A winged theme characterizes the chest of the jackets, and has recognizable origins in the symmetrical design of a Continental GT dashboard; the vertical split providing a dynamic and interesting look.
Other than foldover collar and zips at the wrists the jackets also come in men’s sizes.
The masculine version captures a sporting aesthetic in Navy leather, the back evoking the cobra design of a Continental GT’s seats. . The practicalities of driving are reflected through additional functionality.
The zipped neck pocket conceals a dual collar, with an extension that can be exposed when driving a convertible and in need of additional wind protection.
It’s made from navy leather and is fully reversible, which will allow you to transform it into a sporting down jacket. The cool jacket will protect you from light rains thanks to its water resistant cotton.
Jackets, men and women’s are created from lambskin and sport the brand’s famous winged B logo embossed on the back of the neck.
Now let’s talk prices. Men’s jackets will be priced at $5,395 while the women’s version will have a price tag of $4,780.
Another part of the collection is Bentley’s cashmere scarves. The gorgeous accessories come in two variations: dip-dyed cashmere stoles and damier squares.
Made in Britain, the scarves are crafted from cashmere sources from Inner Mongolia and the colors chosen are pastels to suit spring weather.
The daimer squares are priced at $232 while each dip-dyed stole costs $154.
And we’ve reached the most amazing part of the collection: handbags.
The Continental handbag and the Barnato handbag are available in lots of colors and have priced between $5,500 and $7,000.
The Barnato, named after Diana Barnato, a legendary English aviatrix and daughter of Woolf Barnato, former Bentley chairman, and the Continental, named after the iconic Bentley GT, are must haves in any true Bentley Girl’s collection.
Designed to make you look great without trying too hard, Bentley’s Spring/Summer 2015 collection will surely dictate the “how to dress for this spring” trend.
Bentley’s collection for spring has been inspired by the world of driving, and the luxurious range of cashmere scarves are the living proof of that statement.
