These places might be all around the world, but each has something unique to bring to the table!

Here are 5 best Autumn destinations 2016

 Lavaux Vineyard Terraces, Switzerland

The Lavaux Vineyard Terraces spread for about 30 km along the northern shores of Lake Geneva. It’s covering the lower slopes of the mountainside between the villages and the lake.

Each autumn, 2,050 acres of the most ancient vineyards attract visitors who taste and walk along the Lake to Chateau de Chillon Castle.

All those yellow arrows mark the path which leads though medieval villages.

Until 15 October, the Lavaux Panoramic train transport people to taste wine through the villages of Rivaz, Chexbres, Chardonne and St-Saphorin.

A crisscross of railways makes it easy to explore the entire Lavaux region. You can choose to walk on foot or by bike. Or, if you like challenges join the Lausanne Marathon on October 30 between Lake Geneva and the terraced hillsides.

Kyoto, Japan

Kyoto, the imperial capital of Japan, is an ancient city with a vibrant mash-up. Visit the shrines and temples, then dine at a modern restaurant.

Kaiseki is Kyoto’s haute cuisine, an elaborate meal which is original from 500 years ago as an accompaniment to tea ceremonies.

Today, sampling the cuisine can be a rare and pricey experience. Meals at Michelin-starred kaiseki restaurants like Kikunoi run of $160 to a person.

Shoppers will find plenty of temptations along Sanjo-dori a narrow stretch lined with shops and buzzing with bicyclists and pedestrians.

The Grand Canyon

The Grand Canyon is a steep sided canyon carved by the Colorado River in Arizona. It is 277 miles long and 18 miles wide.

Almost 2 billion years of the Earth’s geological history has been exposed while the Colorado Plateau was uplifted. Colorado River continued to erode and form the canyon to its present-day configuration which makes it one of the best autumn destinations 2013.

The Grand Canyon is one of those places that you just have to see to believe. Eagle Rock on the west rim, named for its shape, it is considered sacred by the Hualapai Indians.

The Grand Canyon Skywalk is a transparent horseshoe-shaped cantilever bridge and tourist attraction in Arizona. You must go there and watch the amazing view.

Machu Picchu

Machu Picchu is a prominence with a broad base which ends in sharp peaks above sea level. It is located in Peru, being situated on a mountain above the SacredValley.

Often referred to as the “LostCity of the Incas”, it is perhaps the most familiar icon of Inca Civilization. Machu Picchu has become an important tourist attraction.

It was reconstructed to give tourists better ideas of what the structures looked long time ago.

Kenya , Mombasa

Each year, Mombasa celebrates its great wealth of heritage with a cultural Carnival. Held in November, this vibrant and eclectic carnival is a good chance to see artists and musicians.

The Carnival is a street parade with members of all of the city’s many cultures and communities participating. Mombasa is one of the oldest cities of the world.

The main feature of the Mombasa carnival are the lively and colorful parades and large street floats.

This festival in Kenya is rated one the best in the world. During the festival there are many food and craft stalls set up all over the city selling a wide variety of souvenirs and also some delicious Kenyan dishes.

The festival is a great time to capture the special feeling of this part of coastline with its Africa meets Arabia atmosphere.
