4Boulders Beach, Simon’s Town
Now this is something spectacular! Boulders Beach is a sheltered beach and was named by the granite boulders from which is made up.
Located near Simon’s Town, in the Cape Peninsula, the beach is commonly known as Boulders Bay.
It already was a tourist attraction, but now is more famous thanks to a colony of African Penguins which settled there in 1982.
Although the African Penguins are spread all over the place, they are best viewed from Foxy Beach.
Imagine almost 3.000 penguins swimming near you. Funny picture!
