6. Playa de ses Illetes, Formentera, Spain
The virgin and wonderful beach is characterized by the fact that is not very large; it only has fine-grained white sand, gentle slope and the orientation is toward west.
It is one of the most frequented beaches of the Formentera. I think it’s because of the posidonia meadow under its water which has been declared Human Heritage by the UNESCO.
Or perhaps because the crystal clear water explains why the beach is very popular among divers from all over the world who come to this place.
The beach can only be accessed by car by easy following the signs and the deviations. Then you can leave your private car or whatever transportation you had on a free parking area in the surroundings.
