1.Playa de la Concha, San Sebastian
And we end our journey with Playa de la Concha.
San Sebastian’s Playa de la Concha is a city-beach, just 10 minutes away from the centre of San Sebastian’s Old Town.
Playa de la Concha or the Shell Beach is an elegant horseshoe-shaped crescent, different from other beaches. It doesn’t have the usual souvenir shops and touristy-high rises, but it has a boulevard framed by turn-of-the-century houses.
The beach is connected to 2 other beaches, Playa de Ondarreta and Playa de la Zurriola, forming a 1.5 km long white sand formation.
The best time to go to Playa de la Concha is from June until September.
