10Side Fishtail
This braid, which works best with longer hair, needs a bit of texture for hold; if your hair is straight, give it some wave by winding one-inch sections around a curling iron.
Gather your hair to one side in a low ponytail, securing it close to the base of your neck with a clear elastic. Next, create a fishtail braid: separate the ponytail into two sections. Hold one section; with your other hand, take a narrow strip of hair from the outside of the other section and bring it over to the one in your hand.
Repeat, incorporating hair from one section into the other until you run out of hair; then secure with another clear elastic. Finally, with a pair of scissors, carefully cut out the top elastic to give the braid a loose, casual look. For a more bohemian effect, gently pull the braid apart with your fingers.

9Braided Halo
Separate the upper portion of medium-length to long hair (from temples to crown) and temporarily clip it atop your head.
Take a small section at each temple and tightly French-braid it, working back toward your crown; secure each braid with a clear elastic. Next, unclip the hair at your crown. Use one hand to hold this section up and the other to tease it at the roots with a fine-tooth comb, making a little pouf.
Gently smooth over the teased portion with a paddle brush. Then anchor the braids to the bottom of the pouf with bobby pins.

This sideswept braid is something of a cross between a waterfall braid and the French braid. Part slightly damp hair on the right side. Next, take about a two-inch chunk of hair from the front of the right hairline, and begin a French braid.

Then you’re going to continue, guiding the braid either to the left or right of the head to create the first zig-zag – but only pull in hair from the top of the braid, the top of the head.
Once you’ve turned the first corner, swap the side that you’re pulling the hair in from. Carry on this way, zig-zagging from left to right as many times as you want.
Once you reach the base of the head, make sure you finish at the centre of the head, the nape of the neck. Then braid the hair out into a normal braid. Secure with an elastic.

Take a small section of hair from the left side and make a circle at the back, take some hair from the right side and secure it in your left hand between middle finger and ring finger. Then put it over your left thumb.

4Braid with a Twist
This one takes no more than 3-5 minutes to complete and it’s super chic.
Divede you hair in 2 where you want to start braiding. Start twisting always going back away from your forehead.
When you don’t have enough hair anymore, just add a bigger piece and then secure it with a pin. Take the rest of your hair and swipe it over the same side.
Separate it into 3 sections and put the twist over the middle section. Begin to braid until all hair is incorporated and secure it with an elastic.

2Faux Braid
Begin by parting the hair on one side and swooping all of the hair over one shoulder. Divide the hair into two equal sections and twist both sections toward the middle a few times.
Now, taking your index finger, push it directly through the stacked center of both twists dividing the two twists into two even halves again.
Twist the pieces again toward each other and when you have about an inch more of twisting, hold them together and once again push your index finger sideways through the center of both twists.
After about 4 sections, hold the two twisted strands together and begin to pancake the top part of the braid. Use bobby pins and hairspray to secure it.
