One of the best chefs in the United States is Alice Waters.
In 1992 the American chef was declared the first woman to be named as the Best Chef in America, her winning numerous awards.
Waters is the owner of Chez Panisse, a California based restaurant and is known for her organic recipes. The chef was a part of the development of Michelle Obama’s organic garden in the White house.
Her restaurant was named the best restaurant in the country many times, Waters being named one of the most influential figures in food in the past 50 years and also:
