Starting his career as a waiter, Danko worked hard until he became the executive chef at the Ritz Carlton in San Francisco. The chef also owns a restaurant named after himself, in San Francisco which was the first to be awarded 5 stars by the Mobil Travel Guide.
His cooking style combines French, Mediterranean, and American cuisine, him being named the Best Chef in California by the James Beard Foundation.
Danko’s fresh, simple and elegant dishes are a trademark, his menu including Glazed Oysters with Osetra Caviar, or Zucchini Pearls and Lettuce Cream and other mouth-watering dishes.
