Known as ‘Mr. Chocolate, pastry chef Jacques Torres is a prominent member of the International Culinary Center community, receiving several awards such as ‘James Beard Foundation Pastry Chef of the Year’.
Also, he is the host of the Food Network TV show ‘Chocolate with Jacques Torres’ and the author of 2 ‘Dessert Circus’ books.
In 2004, the pastry chef opened his chocolate factory, as well as a second retail location in Manhattan, called ‘Jacques Torres Chocolate Haven’.
Specializing in fresh, handcrafted chocolates, Jacques Torres owns 5 shops in New York and 1 in Harrah’s, Atlantic City.
