I tend to look for the dresses, earrings and high heels, but this year the boys that stepped on the red carpet showed us some exquisite manly elegance. So, here are those who I liked mostly:
Michael B. Jordan – Givenchy
The Givenchy Haute Couture tuxedo with satin and silver star details was one of the best looks at this year’s Oscars. The a white gold Piaget watch and Givenchy shoes completed the look.
Michael Fassbender – Tom Ford
The elegant Tom Ford tux with a silk lapel contrasted perfectly with the actor’s scruffy beard. The right amount of elegance, the right amount of sexyness.
Jared Leto – Saint Laurent
Jared won his award in a white tuxedo jacket with black pants, a Piaget watch and cufflinks by Neil Lane. What was surprising in a good way about his outfit was his red silk bow tie and crystal encrusted studs. His choice might seem risky, but the result was amazing.
Chris Hemsworth – David August
The Rush staroffered us something special when she chose this burgundy three-piece tuxedo with a black lapel and bowtie and a Montblanc watch.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt – Calvin Klein
He wore a black texture two-button lapel tux and and Johnston & Murphy shoes.
Kevin Spacey – Burberry
I really apreciate his idea of standing out and choosing something different than the classic black. A heightened blue tux can be the perfect choice for the red carpet.
Leonardo DiCaprio – Giorgio Armani
Leo wore a sharp-fitting tux that’s equally classic and modern. To the black one-button lape three-piece tuxedo he added Jennifer Meyer cufflinks.
Brad Pitt – Tom Ford
Brad shows us that classic black ensemble never go out of style. A crisp black bowtie accented his look perfectly.
Bradley Cooper – Tom Ford
The word that best describes his look is sexy. The sharp black tuxedo, Chopard watch and trimmed beard, all contributed to that.
Matthew McConaughey – Dolce & Gabbana
His look was glamourous in the ivory tuxedo jacket with black waistcoat and matching pant by Dolce & Gabbana.
