4. Atlantic City, New Jersey, United States
The state of New Jersey contributes $2.5 million to $40 million of United States’ annual commercial casino gaming revenues. And Atlantic City is responsible for that entire amount.
The city offers a variety of casino resorts. In total, there are seven of them you can visit here. Among them are Caesars, Borgata, Harrah’s, and Tropicana. People from the East Coast who cannot get to Las Vegas often end up gambling in Atlantic City. And when I say people, I mean a bunch of crowd flocking the city.
Since I love the beach, I may be a bit biased here, but I recommend you to visit those located at the marina or down-beach section of the city.
Borgata is one of them. Opened thirteen years ago, this casino embodies Tuscany theme. It is also the largest compared to the other six casinos in terms of rooms available, which is 2,000. With 4,000 slot machines, 180 table games, and 50 poker tables available Borgata is also the top-grossing casino in the city.
