As the home to one of the world’s most expensive man-made attractions, Macau offers you tons of excitement. It is also one of the most popular places to splurge, whether it is for leisure of business. In terms of business, many billionaires “hide” their money in China. And as for leisure, gambling covers most of it.
Also known as the ‘Monte Carlo of the Orient’, Macau has legalized gambling since back in the 1850s. And today, there are more than thirty casinos in Macau. Some of its famous casinos are Sands Macau, Wynn Macau, City of Dreams, and the biggest one, The Venetian Macau.

China itself is ranked 2nd in the world in terms of gambling loses. The country collects around $90 billion every year from this revenue. But since it is a highly populated country, the amount of loss per adult resident of China is not among the world’s highest.
