4Residenza Napoleone III

When a former residence of an emperor becomes a hotel, you know it’s going to be luxurious. This one was once the residence of Emperor Napoleon III.

Steeped in history, this former 16th century palazzo resides on the fashionable Via Condotti, home to exclusive designer boutiques. Named after Emperor Napoleon III, who lived here in 1830, the Residenza Napoleone III consists of two apartment options: the Napoleone Suite (which has an optional extra bedroom called the Blue Room) and the Roof Garden Suite.

Guests enter the Palazzo through massive wooden doors and pass along an elegant arcade of Doric columns. A grand marble staircase, lined with antique marble busts of Roman Emperors, leads up to the entrance of the apartments.

Staying at the super-luxe Napoleone Suite, with its silk-draped canopy bed, oil paintings and antiques, is akin to being an exclusive guest in the home of an aristocratic roman noble family. After extensive renovations, the suite was restored to its original splendor and offers the business and leisure traveller all the grandeur of a classic roman Palazzo with all the modern conveniences to which one is entitled.

How much? From 730 to 1,400 Euros
