What could be better than a cold, fresh beer after you get home from work?
Drinking at work, and getting paid for it, that could be better! And drinking officially, of course.
Even though being a beer taster was a job from past centuries called ale taster, the role was reintroduced in 2010 in London, by Spitalfield’s Market.
Many breweries now hire technologists to check the quality of their beers and make sure they are ready to be sold.
If you want to get this job, you don’t need to be able to drink a lot, but to be a perfect palate, that meaning to distinguish the taste and flavour of the alcohol.
Well, anyone could get used to that, right?
