Ciel Bleu is in the five-star Okura Hotel and takes its name, French for blue sky, from its location on the 23rd floor. It won one Michelin star from 2005 to 2007 and has held two since 2008, and it has kept them in 2026.

2. Vinkeles: a classic in Hotel The Dylan
Vinkeles is in Hotel The Dylan. It won its first Michelin star in 2010 and rose to two from 2023, and the head chef is Dennis Kuipers. It is named for the 18th-century engraver Reinier Vinkeles.

3. Restaurant 212: creative cooking at two stars
Restaurant 212 is a creative restaurant in Amsterdam that has kept its two Michelin stars in each guide since 2021.

RIJKS is a 140-seat restaurant in the Philips Wing of the Rijksmuseum. Joris Bijdendijk has been chef de cuisine since it opened in 2014, and it earned a Michelin star in 2017.

6. Yamazato: Michelin-starred Japanese dining in the Okura
Yamazato has held one Michelin star since 2002 and is also housed in the Okura Hotel. Masanori Tomikawa took over the kitchen in March 2010.

What happened to the other restaurants on our earlier list?
Bord’Eau, which we ranked second, has closed. Spectrum, once a two-star restaurant, is shown as closed in the 2026 guide. We removed Blue Spoon, Serre, Tunes, Bridges, Envy and Vis aan de Schelde because none is among the starred restaurants and we could not verify their status. Sinne’s 2026 status was unclear.
