How we ranked Brussels’ luxury restaurants
We used the 2026 Michelin selection for Belgium and Luxembourg, which lists 139 starred restaurants, and kept those in the Brussels region. Within each star level we favored heritage and the sense of occasion. Michelin stars are an outside check on quality, so we did not need to rely on anyone else’s top 10. Prices are not listed here because menus change, so check each restaurant’s own site.
10. Menssa
Menssa, in Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, is classed as creative cuisine and was starred in both the 2025 and 2026 selections. It sits east of the center.
9. Barge
Michelin classes Barge as organic cuisine, and the restaurant kept its star in 2026. It is the only organic kitchen on the list.
8. Eliane
Eliane, listed under creative cuisine, has been starred in both of the last two selections.
7. Kamo
Kamo is the Japanese address on the list, in Ixelles, with one star.
6. Humus x Hortense
Humus x Hortense, in Ixelles, is another creative kitchen, starred in 2025 and 2026.
5. La Villa in the Sky
La Villa in the Sky is classed as creative cuisine and keeps its star in the 2026 selection.
4. Comme chez Soi
Comme chez Soi was founded in 1926 by Georges Cuvelier and moved in the 1930s to its Art Nouveau house on Place Rouppe, where it won its first star in 1953. It held three Michelin stars for 27 years, from 1979, dropped to two in 2006 when Lionel Rigolet took over from Pierre Wynants, and has one star since 2022. It is still the most historic table in the city.
3. Le Chalet de la Foret
Le Chalet de la Foret, in the Uccle district, holds two stars in both the 2025 and 2026 selections and is the only two-star address in the south of the city.

Bozar Restaurant is a French restaurant in central Brussels. It has two Michelin stars, and it kept them in 2026.

La Paix, in Anderlecht, is an Asian restaurant with two Michelin stars in both the 2025 and 2026 selections. It shares the top level in the Brussels region with Bozar and Le Chalet de la Foret, and we put it first for its consistency.
What happened to the original top 10?
Our 2014 list included Jaloa Gastronomique, Restaurant Vincent, La Quincaillerie, Bon-Bon, L’Alban Chambon (already closed when we wrote it), Bruneau, La Manufacture, Bonsoir Clara, Maison du Cygne and Comme chez Soi. Only Comme chez Soi appears in the 2026 Michelin list. We could not confirm the current status of the others, so we dropped them from the ranking rather than guess.
