Best Luxury Restaurants In Dallas | Top 10

The best luxury restaurants in Dallas in 2026 are Mamani and Tatsu Dallas, the only two restaurants in the city with a Michelin star in the 2025 Texas guide, followed by Fearing’s at the Ritz-Carlton and Nobu.

We rank nine restaurants by Michelin recognition first, then price tier, setting and how recently we could confirm them open. The older list was topped by The French Room, which now serves mostly afternoon tea and bar dinner.

Rank Restaurant Style Location
1 Mamani Contemporary French, à la carte 2681 Howell St.
2 Tatsu Dallas Edomae sushi omakase, 10 counter seats 3309 Elm St.
3 Fearing’s Restaurant Southwestern fine dining 2121 McKinney Ave.
4 Nobu Dallas Celebrity sushi and hot dishes 400 Crescent Court
5 Nick & Sam’s Steakhouse Prime steaks, valet and showmanship 3008 Maple Ave.
6 The Mercury Steakhouse, North Dallas 11909 Preston Rd.
7 Chamberlain’s Steak & Chop House Prime Texas steaks, 30 years Far North Dallas
8 The Capital Grille Dry-aged steaks and a large wine list Uptown Dallas
9 The French Room at The Adolphus Afternoon tea, bar dinner The Adolphus Hotel

1. Mamani

Mamani earned its first Michelin star in the 2025 Texas guide. Chef Christophe De Lellis spent nearly a decade leading the kitchen at Restaurant Joël Robuchon in Las Vegas before opening here.

The format is bistronomie: shareable plates rather than a long tasting menu. The guide points to the Dover sole with brown butter, the veal cordon bleu with pommes purée and the Paris-Brest with praline cream. It opens evenings only.

A Michelin star, an à la carte format and a top price tier.

2. Tatsu Dallas

Tatsu is a ten-seat sushi counter led by chef Tatsuya Sekiguchi. The meal is roughly fourteen pieces of Edomae-style sushi that move from lighter fish to richer, bolder flavors, served on Hokkaido rice.

Everyone is served together, so arrive on time. It is open Tuesday to Saturday evenings and closed Sunday and Monday. It kept its star for a second year in 2025.

A Michelin star, the most exclusive seating in the city.

3. Fearing’s Restaurant

Fearing’s, inside The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas, is Dean Fearing’s room, open since 2007. The guide lists it at its top price tier. The look is dramatic enough to pass for a traditional steakhouse, but the menu leans on game such as buffalo and antelope alongside classic filets.

Signature dishes include the Lone Star mosaic, a plate of tuna, wagyu, salmon and barbecued eel, and a refined take on a campfire s’more.

A long-running hotel room that the guide lists at the top price tier, but without a star.

4. Nobu Dallas

Nobu sits in Hotel Crescent Court and brings the Japanese-Peruvian cooking of the global Nobu brand to Dallas. It remains one of the city’s most recognizable luxury names. Expect sushi, cooked seafood dishes and a see-and-be-seen room.

Global brand strength and a hotel address; we could not re-check the current menu or prices.

5. Nick & Sam’s Steakhouse

Nick & Sam’s is the Dallas steakhouse built around the evening out. Its listing shows free valet parking and special Sunday supper events through late November 2026, and critics split between calling it overrated and calling it the city’s best showmanship.

Go for prime steaks and a lively room rather than a quiet dinner.

Strong demand and a recognizable room, with mixed critical opinion.

6. The Mercury

The Mercury is run by executive chef and partner Chris Ward and stays open as of this update. It serves steaks in a polished North Dallas setting. We have kept it from the original list because it is still trading, but we could not re-check its current menu.

Still open, but verified on fewer points than the rooms above.

7. Chamberlain’s Steak & Chop House

Chamberlain’s is chef Richard Chamberlain’s signature restaurant in far North Dallas. It has served prime Texas steaks for more than thirty years and offers an entirely gluten-free menu, which is rare at this level.

Decades of operation and a distinctive menu policy.

8. The Capital Grille

The Capital Grille is a national steakhouse brand with a Dallas location in Uptown. Its pitch is dry-aged bone-in ribeye, an art-deco look and a large wine list.

It stays on the list as the reliable option for a business dinner, though it is the one entry here that is part of a chain.

Reliable and widely available, but not a local original.

9. The French Room at The Adolphus

The French Room was long Dallas’s most formal dining room and sits in the restored Adolphus Hotel, with a honed marble floor, gilded Louis XVI-style chairs and twin Italian Murano glass chandeliers.

It has changed. Today the room is best known for afternoon tea, and dinner is served in the French Room Bar from 5 pm Monday to Saturday, with the kitchen closing at 10 pm. We keep it for the room itself, not as a full tasting-menu destination.

The setting is unmatched, but the dining format has changed, so it falls from first place on our old list.
