Mercato is courtesy of Three on the Bund and three Michelin star Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten.
He is actually a New York-based chef that cooks great seafood, house-made pastas, and wood-fired pizzas. The restaurant is located on the fourth floor of the Three on the Bund building and the interior can be classified as rustic.
Details of steel, iron and glass are blend together with touches of wood and warm leather tones to offer you a sensual view and a feeling of comfort.
Although elegance is the word to describe the restaurant, it is nice to notice that it is elegant in a natural an organic way. An unpretentious elegant, if that is a thing.
However, it is a very comfortable place for classy groups of people that come in to have a good time and serve an excellent meal.
