Being one of Sodermalm’s hottest late-night pubs at the moment, Kvarnen is actually a historic blue-collar tavern that has existed in the same location since 1908.
With its beer hall also being a restaurant, at Kvarnen you can enjoy traditional Swedish dishes at less than half the price of other high-end dining places.
Dishes like steak tartare, rye fried herring, pan fried reindeer with mushrooms and oxcheek bourguignonne, among other are pretty popular at the restaurant.
