University of California is the 3rd oldest campus of the University of California system.
Commonly known as UCLA, the university provides housing to over 10.000 undergraduate and 2.900 graduate students.
Those 10.000 are housed in 14 complexes on the western side of campus, known as ‘The Hill’.
Graduate students are housed in 1 of 5 apartment complexes.
The school’s sports teams are called the Bruins, with colors gold and True Blue.
UCLA has won an impressive number of 125 championships and only 111 were NCAA championships.
It has also received a medal in every Olympic Games they have participated in.
Home to 68 local and national Greek organizations, UCLA is known for the annual ‘Undie Run’ through campus. It’s similar to ‘American Pie Presents: The Naked Mile’.
At the end of finals, students get all together, strip down to their underwear and run through campus.
