The French clothing company was founded in 1933 by Rene Lacoste and Andre Gillier. The brand sells a wide range of items, such as high-end clothing, footwear, perfume, leather goods, watches, eyewear, and the famous polo shirts.
The brand is worldwide known for its famous crocodile logo, Lacoste actually being called by his fans the crocodile thanks to his tenacious style when he played tennis.
In 2012 the Lacoste brand was bought by Swiss family-held group Maus Frères.
