G.I. Joe was introduced by Hasbro in 1964, in a time where no one could have predicted the impact it would have on the toy industry.
It was an absolute success among the young boys who were obsessed to own one. And by 1965, the toy became the toy produced by Hasbro will the most of the sales.
This G.I. Joe was complete with fatigues, boots, helmet, rifle and dog tags and a massive success the stores literally couldn’t keep them in stock.
Although it has changed significantly by paring down in size, it still has an estimated number of 375 million figures sold worldwide.
