1. Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea: Hawaii, USA
The adults-only infinity pool has underwater music, private cabanas and a bar in the water. The resort has three outdoor pools, and a press item describes a $9 million saltwater Serenity Pool with its own bar, though we could not date that item.
Dining includes Spago by Wolfgang Puck, DUO for seafood and steak, and Ferraro’s for Italian.
How we valued it: Pool bar confirmed in current listings, plus the strongest pool programme.
2. The Palms Turks and Caicos: Providenciales, Turks and Caicos
Our old number one was called The Regent Palms. It returned to its original name on 1 September 2015 and operates as an independent 72-suite resort on Grace Bay Beach, under the Hartling Group.
The oceanfront infinity pool has a bar in the water and in-pool seating, and the pool bar and restaurant is called Plunge. We found no 2026 source, so confirm that it is still operating.
How we valued it: Name change and pool bar confirmed, 2026 status unverified.
3. Hotel Monte Mulini: Rovinj, Croatia
Maistra reopened this adults-only hotel in spring 2026 after a €9 million renovation, under a new Riva Destinations concept pairing the hotel with the Riva nautical brand. New spaces include the Riva Lounge, a seafront restaurant, and Riva Privée for private dining.
Our old text mentioned a swim-up bar and four pools, which the new coverage does not confirm. Check what the renewed pool offers.
How we valued it: Reopening confirmed, pool details not.
4. Warwick Fiji Resort & Spa: Coral Coast, Fiji
Still operating in 2026, with agents selling stays through December 2026. Our old text listed two pools, a pool bar, tennis, mini golf and archery, and seven bars and restaurants. A March 2025 listing noted soft renovations of some rooms.
Guests praised the family setup and an adults-only pool, though some thought the food only average.
How we valued it: Operating, details from earlier reporting.
5. Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas: Hua Hin, Thailand
The former Hua Hin Railway Hotel, built in 1923 on 16 hectares of beachfront, 190 km south of Bangkok. The pool is landscaped with palms and stone features and a bar you can reach by swimming.
How we valued it: Carried over from our first edition, no new data found.
6. Omni Cancun Hotel & Villas: Cancun, Mexico
The old text listed 343 rooms, villas and suites, nine restaurants and three pools.
How we valued it: Kept from the first edition, unchecked in 2026.
7. Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort Spa & Casino: Palm Beach, Aruba
A resort above 12 acres of tropical gardens beside Palm Beach with a three-tiered pool and the Copacabana Casino, per earlier reporting. We found no 2026 pool information.
How we valued it: Old text retained, no fresh source turned up.
8. Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina: Dubai, UAE
Part of Destination Mina Seyahi and, per a listing, refurbished in 2024. The property was named official hotel partner of the Hero Dubai Desert Classic for 2026. We did not confirm the pool bar today.
How we valued it: Operating, bar unconfirmed.
9. Hilton Pyramids Golf Resort: 6th of October City, Egypt
A 2026 booking listing shows the resort overlooking the Dreamland Golf Course, with spa, restaurant and gym. Earlier reporting counted three golf courses and a pool with a swim-up bar.
How we valued it: Listed in 2026, bar unconfirmed.
10. Hotel Kivotos: Mykonos, Greece
Earlier reporting placed this 5-star hotel five minutes from Mykonos town, port and airport, and a pool bar. We found nothing on its 2026 status.
How we valued it: Not rechecked this year.
