It is Oregon’s leading wine region, and recognized as one of the premier Pinot noir producing areas in the world.
Home to more than 300 wineries, the Willamette Valley is a large appellation that includes Chehalem Mountains, Dundee Hills, Ribbon Ridge, Yamhill Carlton, Eola Amity Hills and McMinnville.
One of the best wine destination in the world, Willamette Valley offers to its tourists several inns, many fine dining restaurants, and last but not least, a luxury destination resort.
There are 2 major events that take place in Willamette Valley, and those are ‘Wine Country Half Marathon‘ (its course begins at Stoller Familly Estate and ends in downtown Carlton, for the wine and music festival) and ‘Pinot in the City‘ (takes place at Herban Feast’s Sodo Park venue).
