4. Heineken (Sales Revenue: $22.7 billion)
As we are getting close to the top, the amount of sales revenue will only get bigger. Heineken International generates $22.7 billion of sales revenue in just one year. And in terms of market share, it contributes a 9.1% of it globally. With such revenue, Heineken can afford sponsoring the world’s most expensive sport, Formula 1 Gran Prix Racing.
Nearly 3 billion liters of Heineken beer is brewed to cure thirst worldwide. If we count all of the brands owned by Heineken International, that number goes up to 17 billion liters. And it may only be the fourth bestselling, but it is the most world-renowned since it is being sold in more than 190 countries.
Dates back to 1873, Heineken International of Netherlands has been producing more than 170 beer brands. Of course, its largest brand is Heineken. Six 330-ml bottles of Heineken beer are sold at around $14.
“Beer. Made better. Brewed to be the best since 1973. Made the same way ever since. But that’s not all you need to know about Heineken. There’s more behind the star. Flavor: smooth, nicely blended bitterness, and clean finish. Aroma: a shade of fruitiness.” – heineken.com
