7. Asahi (Sales Revenue: $15.3 billion)
Asahi Breweries Limited is one of the oldest beverage companies in the world. It was founded more than a century ago, in 1889. A part of the Asahi Group Holdings, it is one of the leading beverage companies in Japan.
Worldwide, Asahi Breweries may only contribute 1.2% of global market share. But it gains $15.3 billion of sales revenue in just one year. However, this number actually slightly decreased compared to the previous year. Asahi was the leading beer producer in Japan with 38%. Now that spot has been taken by one of its rivals which we will see on the following page.
There are various beer products of Asahi. Among them are Asahi Draft, Asahi Gold, Asahi Stout, Asahi Z, Asahi Black, and Asahi Prime Time. But the bestselling variant is the Asahi Super Dry. One 500-ml bottle of Asahi Super Dry beer is sold at around $2.5.
