10. San Antonio Spurs
In 2012 season the San Antonio Spurs received a fine that made it to the list of the biggest fines in NBA history.
The team was playing against the Miami Heat and during the game the coach decided to throw in the game the second team.
While the stars of the team at that moment where benched and players like Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili were resting, the NBA Commissioner gave the team a penalty.
For deserving the fans and the league by resting star players, the Spurs received a $250,000 fine, this being a very controversial punishment while every team rests their players once in a while.
