The NBA has such strict rules and they forbid players to do extreme sports or any kind of physical activity that could endanger their capability to play in the league.

A player from the L.A. Lakers was fined in 2007 for snowboarding and the league explained that this kind of sports puts in danger the players.

Vladimir Radmanovic, the forward for the L.A. Lakers, back in 2007 was fined with the whopping sum of $500,000 because he was doing physical activities that can put his health at risk.

The player who just wanted to have some fun and add some adrenaline to his activities was fined because the league placed snowboarding on the list of sports that players are forbidden to do.
