One of Spain’s amazing places is Bodega 1860, located in Basque Country, a very artistic and cultural town. The wine collection has around 129.000 bottles, and features some vintage wines from the 1860’s.
Bodega 1860 kept producing wines even during the civil war, so it’s only normal for this winery to be of great importance.
If you want to visit Bodega 1860 you can, but unfortunately you can’t have a taste of the wines there, only VIPs such as local political and religious leaders being allowed to enjoy the limited vintage bottles.
