Leonard Samuel Shoen was an American entrepreneur who founded the U-haul moving equipment and storage rental company, based in Phoenix, Arizona.
It has been in operation since 1945. And today, the Shoen family have a fortune worth $6.8 billion.
Well, the company is owned by AMERCO, which also operates Oxford Life Insurance, Republic Western Insurance and Amerco Real Estate, but the Shoen family owns about 55% of the corporation.
