6. Reliability issue
When a racing team struggles in drivers’ performance, aerodynamic compatibility, or team strategy, it is still okay. But when the struggles lie within the car’s reliability itself, that is a huge concern.
In this year alone, each of the two Scuderia Ferrari drivers had two DNF (Do No Finish). And it is only half way through the season. As seen on the picture, Sebastian Vettel had engine failure during the race.
Besides those DNF, they also had some gearbox issues which cost the driver grid penalty. That is the last thing you need when you are driving the least fast car among the top contenders.
This issue should make you wonder, will it be the same with Ferrari road cars? Will it have the similar reliability issue?
