8. Trailing its competitors
Despite being arguably the most popular brand of sport cars in the world, in terms of performance, Ferrari is trailing from its competitors. Even compared to its compatriot manufacturer, Lamborghini, it is still a little bit behind.
For example, the fastest model from Ferrari, the Ferrari Enzo, goes up to 100 km/h from standing position in 3.4 seconds. However, the Lamborghini Aventador takes only 2.9 seconds to achieve that. Thus, fast car enthusiasts will tend to look the other way, the faster one.
In terms of function, some people prefer other luxury cars, such as Porsche. This is because the current Ferrari models are two-seated only. Plus, there is no excess baggage available as we discussed earlier.
Even though Ferrari is still leading in terms of sales revenue, those who prefer it mostly chose it for other reasons. We will discuss that later on this list.
