3. Say No to Computer
One of the most valuable lessons he got from his father regarding business managing is to keep accurate financial records. And to this day, Carlos is still doing that.
But he does not keep the records on a computer. There is no a single computer in his office. He prefers keeping all of his financial data in his notebooks. No, not those fancy Mac notebooks, but regular books you use to take notes.
Imagine decades worth of data he keeps. But he is keeping them thoroughly though. And I’m sure a billionaire has something better than just labeled carton boxes.
It is not that Carlos is a technology illiterate. He knows how to work a computer. But he just prefers keeping records manually. Perhaps it’s the same reason why people still write on their journal instead of typing them on computer.
