5. Patrick Dempsey
Patrick Dempsey is mostly known for his role in the Grey’s Anatomy TV series. He portrayed Dr. Derek Shepherd, a.k.a McDreamy, for 11 seasons since 2005.
Dempsey is potentially the actor with most professional racing career records. Since 2002, he has been competing in many races. Dempsey competes regularly in many racing series but he focused his racing career in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Last year, he decided to focus on acting and his family. Ironically, it was after his character was killed off in a car crash. However, according to the official entry list, Dempsey’s racing team (Dempsey Proton Racing) will compete in the LMGTE-Pro series this June.
