His statements are clear and don’t tie him with any mob boss ever, but when he tried to apply for a casino license in the UK the Scotland Yard did a background check on him.
This time his words didn’t mean a thing because the police found that he had some connections with the Genovese family, the Ivy League of the Mafia.
The connections weren’t made public, but it’s a fact that his relationships with the mob world are way deeper, as we know that Tony Castelbuono a good friend of his and layer, was laundering money through his casino’s in the early 1980’s.
