8. Rafting in Ayung River, Ubud – Barack Obama
The streets of Kuta were suddenly free from disorganized parked scooters for a few days. When it usually takes more than an hour to get to the airport from the center part of the island, it took me less than thirty minutes on one of those days!
Little did I know, Barack Obama was visiting and the whole Bali was prepared. Well, at least those places he visited. One of which is the Ayung River rafting spot located in Ubud. The former US president and his family were spotted enjoying this water sport.

Besides rafting, Obama also visited some temples and villages nearby. He was spotted sipping a fresh coconut while hundreds other people were watching him.
