London-based luxury developer Christian Candy’s triplex penthouse just hit the market for the price of $ 59 million.
This outstanding penthouse with private elevator over three floors is clearly the most important and luxurious penthouse in NYC at this moment.
For those of you who don’t know, Christian Candy is a british developer of high-design luxury homes for the super rich in London. Along with Nick Candy he founded Candy & Candy in 1999.

After Christian Candy paid $ 25.9 million for the Plaza Penthouse he rebranded and redesigned it with the help of its in-house design company.
No wonder that the curent selling price is double than it was back in 2012. If the 59 million triplex penthouse sells at this price, it would set a record for the Plaza Hotel.
The record is hold, at the moment, by the Russian music producer Igor Krutoy who paid $ 48 million for two adjacent condos.
The triplex penthouse measures almost 7.000 square feet and features four bedrooms and five-and-a-half baths, an angled wall of glass with views overlooking the Central Park and a terrace off the master suite.
It has been fully equipped with an upgraded air conditioning and humidification system.
