N8. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles -$2.2 billion
Fiat strikes again, this time as one of the ten companies that spent the most on advertising. Also known as FCA, the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is the world’s seventh-largest auto maker.
Launched in 2014, by merging Fiat S.p.A into the Netherlands-based holding company Chrysler, the brand has launched since then, a number of high-profile campaigns.
Among their most iconic ones is “Fix It Again, Tony”, which is an ad that they used, a derogatory acronym if you want, that was once widely used to describe the quality of its cars.
The ad was a big push for its Fiat 500 minicar, in which Sean Diddy Combs starred.
