The P.U.M.A. Prototype
Number 4 is an experimental concept created by the team at Segway who want a better world where cars are electric and other vehicles occupy less space.
They create the P.U.M.A., the personal urban mobility and accessibility prototype a vehicle that has been developed from the classic Segway but on a larger scale.
On two wheels, equipped with two seated spaces, a roof over the head and an aluminium head cage in case of falling, the vehicle run on the same principle as the Segway.
The whole steering process is made by a mobility handle that produces the same effect of leaning back and forward for speed and direction, the amazing thing being that the cage is flexible and the whole ride for you is gentle and silent.
The prototype features electric propulsion, smart battery management, a digital dashboard and sensory technology for steering.
