7. Brazil: 54 Billionaires
By the end of 2015, Forbes recorded 54 billionaires in Brazil which put it into the 7th rank of countries with highest number of billionaires. This is quite impressive because most people living in countries in southern part of American continent are suffering from poverty.
Brazil seems to be not one of them. It ranked as the 9th world’s largest economy with $1.672 trillion of nominal GDP. It is indeed the largest national economy of Latin America.
Brazil is enriched by abundant natural resources. This is what attracted the richest man in Brazil, Jorge Paulo Lemann, to invest in Brazil.
Lemann is a successful investor. He is known as the King of beer by merging two brewing company, the Interbrew of Belgium and Anheuser-Busch of America. Now, it is the world’s largest brewer. Lemann possesses $27.8 net worth, ranking him as the 19th world’s richest.
