Daymak’s C5 Blast Ultimate Is the World’s fastest & Most Expensive Go-Kart
Daymak’s C5 Blast Ultimate go-kart is the world’s fastest & most expensive go-kart we’ve ever seen!
A Toronto-based company stared in 2002 that designs, develops and distributes light electric vehicles has released the fastest go-kart yet.
Daymak is the company behind the Daymak C5 Blast Go-Kart, the fastest one yet, according to them.
The team believes that this go-kart could become the fastest electric go-kart in the world, and they decided to prove it.
Aldo Baiocchi, President of Daymak states, “We have developed the fastest 100% clean energy go kart in the world by far.
We plan to achieve 0 to 60 in less than 1.5 seconds!!! It will be a little faster than the Tesla P100D.
According to the Guiness Book of World Records, the current record is being held by Hochschule Osnabrück Institut MuT, which was clocked at 0 to 60 in 2.635 seconds.”
This go-kart boasts a liquid cool 10000w watt motor, a sweet Daymak Drive controller, eight EDF motors for combined output of 96kg of upwards thrust.
Apart from that the kart also features 4 rear EDF motors for 60kg of forward thrust.
Only by these specifications you realize that this kart is not one to mess with.
Simply weighing approx. 100 kg thanks to the EDF motors and Daymak technology to balance the weight from 200kg, the kart is super light and fast.
Inside the new Daymak manufacturing facility located in Toronto, Canada, they are putting the pieces together to build the kart.
How much for one?
You’ll get to choose from two versions. The first is the Daymak C5 Blast regular with only 1 motor and a price tag of $9,999. And the second option an EDF model with a price tag of $59,995.
“We have a working prototype and we are currently looking to apply this technology to a variety of projects and are actively seeking strategic partners and investors to bring it to the next level.
The potential are limitless,” states Jason Roy, Vice President.
We went through all this effort to break the record so we figured ‘Hey might as well smash it!’
