4. Charles Harrelson (1938 – 2007)
Charles Harrelson was probably not just one of the deadliest assassins, but also the most popular. His name is linked to former US president, John F. Kennedy, and an Academy-Award-nominated actor, Woody Harrelson for two different reasons.
As you can tell by the name, Charles was related to Woody. In fact, he was Woody’s estranged father. They grew apart since he got divorced with Woody’s mother when the actor was just three years of age.
Back in 1980, during a standoff with the police, Charles admitted of killing Kennedy. But later he said that the statement was made just as an effort to elongate his life. However, his name remains within the Kennedy’s assassination conspiracy theory.
Charles was sentenced to life from killing a federal judge. During his time in prison, he attempted to escape once. This led to him being transferred to a maximum-security prison in Colorado where he died of a heart attack.
