2. Alexander Solonik (1960 – 1997)
Alexander Solonik is known as the Superkiller. His killing skills came from his martial arts and military background. After finishing school, he joined the Soviet Army’s tank regiment. And after that, he joined the Russian federal special police agency and received training at Gorkovskiy Institute.
Showing extreme violence towards suspects, Alexander was kicked out of the force. Then he lived what seemed to be an ordinary life of a married man until he was convicted of rape and sentenced to eight years in prison. During his time, he tried to escape and succeeded on his second trial.
That was when his life as a hitman began. He murdered many important Russian mobsters. Eventually, he was captured and arrested. But he managed to escape, again. That was when he became one of the Russian’s most wanted criminals.
In 1997, Alexander was found dead in Athens, Greek. Without any IDs, his body showed indications of strangulation. In addition to that, weapons were found in the villas he owned in Greece.
