7. Glennon Engleman (1927 – 1999)
We mentioned about Joe Gallo who was a furniture salesman when he was not killing people. Glennon Engleman also had a day job besides being a hitman. Glennon was in fact a dentist. Imagine that. Going to regular dentist scares some people already, let alone to cold-blooded-killer dentist.
Glennon was a sociopath. He admitted that killing without remorse is his talent of being a hitman. And he enjoyed planning his killings. Thus, his methods varied from shooting, bashing, to bombing.
His first known victim was actually married to his ex-wife. He shot him to death and collected $64,000. Then in 1963, he killed his own business partner by pushing him down a well and blew him up with dynamite.
He was convicted for three murders and sentenced to life. But the exact number of his victims has never been, and will never be revealed. It is a fact he took to his grave as he died in prison of diabetes-related condition.
