Greyson Chance is the first singer Ellen signed to her record label, eleveneleven. She launched the label along with his record deal.
Greyson posted his version of Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi” on YouTube in April, 2010. He was performing at a church in Edmond, Oklahoma. When Ellen discovered him, the video only had around 10,000 views.
He was so inspiring to her, she even named the record label after his performance. Eleven was the date she saw the video and also the number on the soccer jersey Greyson was wearing.
Now, Greyson’s sensational video on YouTube has hit more than 52 million views. With many hit singles, Greyson definitely is the most successful of all young talents who made their debut on Ellen.
